Several seemingly unrelated phenomena have one explanation:
- Abscopal and bystander effects.
- Surgical removal of a colon tumor is followed by hepatic metastasis.
- Cancer dormancy.
- Primary tumor impedes growth of metastases.
- Angiostatin secreted by a tumor  prevents the growth of micro-metastases

Abscopal and bystander  effects are phenomena  observed following irradiation of the organism.  They  follow also  other insults, chemical or physical.

In the presentation:
1. Explanation of and presentation of  some abscopal phenomena.
2. Introduction of  three rules (laws) that have to be considered in order to explain these phenomena.
3. Since medicine ignores these laws, it lacks essential concepts to understand  these and other  related phenomena
